Characters Welcome?

So I'm working on my Main Street characters. I don't want to get in trouble, so I do have a couple of guidelines that will set me apart from cast members:
  1. No hats.
  2. No gloves.
  3. No parasols.
  4. No fans.
  5. Skirts up, sneakers showing.
  6. Carry Pursilla (my penguin backpack).
That said, I do plan to go in costume:

Rosemary Sachet, of the Hopeful Sachets
  • From: Hopeful, GA
  • Personality: Dreamy, gentle
  • Catchphrases: "Oh, how lovely!" / "Oh, MY!" / "Rahh-lly" / "Dah-ling" / "Yes, yes, yes, yes"
  • Mannerisms: Move slowly. Gentle half-smiles. Head tilted a bit. When looking around, look up a bit. Be bashful.
  • Story:
  • Notes: This will be over fall break, with a long blonde wig with loose curls, hair softly pinned up in back if I can get that to work. / This will be a day costume; I'll definitely want to get a locker and have a change of clothes - it gets HOT! We're planning to attend MNSSHP but I'm hoping to make a good Maleficent costume for that.

Elsie Dinsmore, Schoolteacher
  • From: Hopeful, WI
  • Personality: Practical and inquisitive
  • Catchphrases: "dooncha know" / "Well, then!" / "Ooo, goodness" / "Allrighty then" / "Yes-yes-yes-yes"
  • Mannerisms: Lips pressed together. Chin forward. Direct looks. Carry a small clothbound volume of poetry.
  • Story:
  • Notes: Planning to wear this to MVMCP during the NCTE convention. / I have a fitted velveteen jacket (black) that I wear over a white turtleneck with this skirt. / Probably going to wear the long dark wig, neatly pinned up in the back. / Elsie was named for a Victorian character but hopefully isn't anywhere near as annoying!
